Here is this year’s information:

The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is awarding scholarships to outstanding Middle Tennessee students pursuing a career in business, criminal justice, or law. One scholarship in the amount of $1,500 and five scholarships in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded. Scholarships will be awarded at the June 14, 2012, social, and scholarship recipients will be invited to attend the dinner.

The eligibility requirements include:

Enrollment in a Middle Tennessee area college or university

Business, criminal justice, information technology or legal-related major

Minimum 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale)

To apply:

• Complete the scholarship application.
• Attach current high school or college transcripts.
• Attach two letters of recommendations from non-relatives.
• Attach an original 250-word essay on why you deserve the scholarship and how fraud awareness will affect your career development.

The application and all attachments should be submitted together and RECEIVED no later than May 14, 2012.
