Every year, the
Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners
awards scholarships to outstanding Middle Tennessee students pursuing a
career in business, criminal justice, or law. The chapter presented six
$1,000 scholarships at the June 23, 2011 social. Completed
applications for 2012 scholarships, including all supporting materials, must
be received by the close of business on May 14, 2012. We will recognize the successful
recipients at our June Social, which is scheduled for June 14, 2012. The
number of scholarships to be awarded and the value of each has
not yet been determined. Eligibility Requirements:• Enrollment in a Middle
Tennessee area college or university • Business, criminal justice, information
technology or legal-related major* • Minimum 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale) To apply: 1. Complete the scholarship application. (The application is in Adobe Acrobat format; download and install a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.) 2. Attach current high school or college transcripts. 3. Attach two letters of recommendations from non-relatives. 4. Attach an original 250-word essay on why you deserve the scholarship and how fraud awareness will affect your career development. 5.
